In northern Canada, seasonal foraging for food is a way of life. During the summertime, residents can eat any plants as long as the poison level is not high, even tree leaves. Fall is the time for insects, and in the winter, they eat frozen potatoes and dried cabbage. Spring is difficult as stocks are depleted, and it's hard to find any food.
