Transfer hubs are being used as depots at entry points to metropolitan areas to simplify the process of autonomous trucking. They enable the automation of transfer hub to transfer hub routes, and the upcoming ground-up designed driverless hub will further integrate depot to depot operations for people and goods to be transported in a more seamless and automated manner.
