Soldier of Fortune magazine supported the Rhodesian government by ignoring the brutal realities of the regime and emphasizing the atrocities committed by Robert Mugabe, while conveniently leaving out that Mugabe didn't start leading guerrilla forces until after the previous commander was assassinated.
