The Western supply of weapons including heavy and offensive weapons to Ukraine for its self-defense in the invasion by Russia is legal under international law, unlike the illegal Russian invasion. The shift in power and unification of Ukraine against the common enemy surprised many and allowed the West to rediscover its power and independence.
