The emergence of the Alpha Alliance, a power group capable of imposing their ideas about right and wrong behavior, is simultaneous with the evolution of moral principles. While the morality of sympathy can be observed in higher primates and dolphins, moral principles based on the concept of right and wrong are much more arbitrary and vary among different societies.
