The Atocha shipwreck, which sank off the coast of Florida in the 17th century, is a still-lucrative site for treasure hunters as well as a significant historical artifact. Despite finding 40 tons of gold and silver and other treasures, there is still much more to uncover and the site continues to attract historians and divers alike.
