Flashbacks are a complex phenomenon and not necessarily complete nonsense. While the idea that body fat stores compounds leading to flashbacks has no evidence to support it, Hallucinogen Persisting Perceptual Disorder is a real disorder that a small percentage of psychedelic users may experience.
