The Battle of Alesia
In the epic Battle of Alesia, Julius Caesar must face a combined army of 90,000 Gauls led by the noble Vercingetorix, forcing him to split his forces and defenses while dealing with a second assault from the remaining Gallic troops. Caesar shows his tactical genius by managing to control his reserves while adjusting troop movements accordingly, ultimately gaining a decisive victory between September 52 to October 52 BCE.
