In the final episode of The Borderline Case series, the defense claims that Jennifer Locke Borderline, Gerald Borderline's estranged wife, actually killed Courtney and that he was taking the blame for her. Despite this, Gerald Borderline is convicted of first degree murder and the jury is tasked with deciding whether or not to give him the death penalty.
