The Complexity of the Brain's Dynamics
Neuroscientists and researchers still do not know enough about the workings of the human brain to completely analyze its dynamics in terms of underlying chemistry or physics, according to a member of Durham's interdisciplinary consciousness group. While substantial progress has been made in mapping brain functions and the construction of a connectome, only 70% has been completed for the maggot brain, which consists of just 10,000 to 100,000 compared to the 86 billion of the human brain.
