Guns that show up at crime scenes in states like New York and California are primarily coming from states with weaker gun laws such as Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Loosening gun restrictions does not necessarily make the country safer and the idea of a "good guy with a gun" stopping a "bad guy with a gun" is not a realistic solution.
