A seminar revealed that if we want to hit net zero by 2050, we need the reduction in emissions equivalent to what the COVID pandemic did to us every two years, and the IPCC reports tend to under-report slightly. The global warming has hit 1.1 degrees of warming, and we need to have a massive deep reduction in emissions to keep it under 1.5 or at least under 2 degrees, or we will 100% exceed that this century.
