Project MKUltra was a government-backed program approved by the director of the CIA that used torture, hypnosis, and sexual abuse in an attempt to find ways to mind control people. The program was exposed in 1975 and involved government-employed prostitutes to lure and experiment on individuals from universities, hospitals, and prisons.
