Aleister Crowley is known as the founder of Thelemic religion and the originator of the phrase "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law". However, he is also infamous for reportedly watching his fellow mountaineers die instead of helping them during a tragic expedition up Kachinjunga in 1905.
