The notorious Brazilian spiritual healer, John of God, who was once believed to have had miraculous healing abilities was actually cutting people's faces and forcing things up their noses. His biographer, Heather Cummings, recalls one of his healing sessions where he was channeling Dr. Jose Valdivino, one of the entities that allegedly spoke through him.
