Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes are different diseases that share the name diabetes, but type 1 deaths are almost unheard of, unlike type 2 which causes acute deaths, and is characterized by high levels of insulin, insulin resistance, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, among others.
