Backyard pools are actually more dangerous compared to municipal pools for kids with disabilities who can't swim as they may wander outside when no one is around and fall into the pool. However, parents shouldn't use mortality statistics to lecture other people on how to parent their kids as most kids under 10 who drown are either very young kids in bathtubs or in lakes and rivers.
