The World Anti-Communist League (WACL) had been a controversial organization known for its support of dictators and for spreading disinformation. Within the group, there were factions, including one led by Reverend Sun Myung Moon, who eventually left and called the organization "fascist" while his money was still indirectly funding its activities through a Japanese branch.
