The Future Circular Collider is a long-term multi-decade project to build a 100 kilometer circumference tunnel under the Geneva region with an estimated cost of 30 billion euros spent between now and 2070. The goal is to bring European science back together for peaceful purposes, however, data from any of these machines won't be available until 2040 or later due to the lengthy construction process and high expense.
