The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed vulnerabilities in our communications, decision-making processes and resource allocation for public health which require a public-private partnership between the government and big corporations to address them. Cybersecurity is not something that can be solved by putting up defensive barriers, but requires a more coordinated and proactive approach which could have parallels in how we respond to pandemics.
