Billy McFarland, Founder of Magnesis wanted to give himself and other young people access to the world of entertainment, fashion, and media that he stumbled into in New York. He wanted to meet with bosses at companies like Def Jam, Hearst, Discover, and Disney that were just logos on TV for him as a young kid.
