Joseph D'Angelo, also known as the Golden State Killer, was charged with 13 counts of first degree murder and special circumstances, including murder during rapes and burglaries, as well as 13 counts of kidnapping. He was sentenced to multiple consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
