We currently lack understanding of the brain workings to determine whether there are emergent causal dynamics that could require modifications to physics or if there's more to what runs the show beyond physics. Therefore, we can't rule out the possibility of certain causal dynamics within the brain that may be not reducible to underlying chemistry and physics.
