The example of organ donation is overstated when it comes to the promise of nudging. Unlike most political issues, organ donation is not politicized and has a very high approval rating, making it easier to nudge people to become donors. Additionally, the way TED talks simplify and spread these lessons fail to consider the complexity of the issue at hand.
