The conceptual framework of Freudian psychoanalysis is limited to postnatal biography and the individual unconscious, barely scratching the surface of what the psyche really is, it is important to expand the map of psychoanalysis to encompass broader experiences such as perinatal and transpersonal experiences, which overlap with the spiritual philosophies of the East and shamanic maps.
