Research has shown that limiting smartphone use to 60 minutes or less per day for adolescents and 2 hours or less for adults is a great way to maintain focus and attention. Unlike any other technology, smartphones decrease attention span and abilities to focus even when not in use. However, it's possible to use a combination of drugs, technology and other paradigms to increase focus and attention in both children and adults with ADHD.
