In 2018, hackers launched a rash of cryptocurrency trading apps starting with Selas Trade Pro which promised users crypto trading advice and wallet connectivity. However, this app, along with others in the market, were revealed to be associated with a $500M cyber theft--the largest cryptocurrency heist to ever occur.
