The idea of picking the right industry to achieve success appears to be a myth, as there is no evidence to support that these industries had leaders that were any less exceptional in terms of their pure leadership ability. Comparing the success between industries adds a significant amount of work to do the comparison, and therefore, it may not be beneficial to focus on the industry alone.
