The journey of Jesus on earth in his agony, brokenness, and suffering mirrors the path that humankind should take as well, as Jesus ultimately sacrificed himself on earth. The journey is a way to toil and serve while on earth, as the Transfiguration allows for a foretaste of Christ's glorious coming when the body of the believers will be changed into a glorious one as well.
