Astronomers have discovered that half the sun-like stars from the Kepler satellite data have a planet similar to Earth, making it extremely possible that there is extraterrestrial life. With billions of galaxies in the observable volume of the universe, it would be arrogant to believe that ours is the only planet containing sentient life.
