The use of feed-forward neural networks, recurrent neural networks, and convolutional neural networks have been prevalent in solving image recognition, natural language processing, and other tasks. Backpropagation and other forms of learning in these networks have led to a greater understanding of artificial neural networks and its relationship to learning in the brain.
