Windows and Office used built-in features to collect crash data that could've potentially identified cyber attacks earlier if they were able to sort through the massive amount of data coming in. Programs with large lines of code can have tens of thousands of bugs but the use of bug bounties can incentivize hackers to report them and in turn enhance system security.
