The internet has exposed us to the extraordinary and has created a culture of extreme meritocracy where people develop insane checklists of qualifications, making it hard for individuals to ever feel truly satisfied with their achievements. There is a need for a parallel narrative that values satisfaction and contentment over constant achievement and success.
