The Reed Technique is a method of interrogation used by law enforcement to elicit confessions from suspects, but it has a small percentage of false confessions. Detective Loria used this technique on Nicole Michelle Frederick to try and get a confession regarding the abuse of her stepdaughter, but ended up blaming the victim instead.
