The United States and the United Kingdom have an obligation to step up and help maintain the strategic nuclear balance for countries like India, Pakistan, South Korea, and Japan. This duty goes back to when they promised Ukraine that gave up its nuclear weapons in 1994, to ensure territorial integrity and sovereignty would remain intact.
