The war in Ukraine has caused a huge displacement of human beings that will have a ripple effect on the global resources that come into play to deal with refugees for many years to come, regardless of whether or not the conflict ended today. Prior to the Ukrainian conflict, there were already 79 million displaced people worldwide, and estimates for displacement from Ukraine range from four to six million.
