The SIOP team helped the US troops tear down Saddam Hussein's statue in Baghdad by using loudspeakers to organize and control the crowd, and even ran an Iraqi flag up the statue for the local kids to climb on. They were also responsible for crafting news stories and altering messaging on mass media.
