Researchers are searching for indigenous populations in Tanzania and Australia who have not been chronically administered antibiotics, to better understand how our ancestors lived and dealt with diseases. This search is important in the study of illnesses like Lyme disease and the effectiveness of fecal transplants, but finding these uncontaminated populations is proving challenging.
