The development of infrastructure projects today takes significantly longer than in the past, with examples such as Australia's nuclear submarine taking 20 years to build in comparison to the first nuclear submarine which was built in just a few years. It is demonstrated that this slow pace of development contrasts with China's ability to build infrastructure at a much faster pace such as a hospital in 10 days during the pandemic.
