The current status of the economy is not in a recession yet, with retail sales still strong, decent GDP rates, and jobs and wages at reasonable levels. Although, there are concerns about the economy's trajectory with inflation worse than expected and real wage decreases due to inflation. Along with this, the situation with Ukraine is concerning some analysts.
