Georgia Tann implemented a scheme of child trafficking where she used a network of spotters to find underprivileged women, particularly single mothers in labor, and sold their babies to wealthy families. Dr. George Lovejoy was one of the doctors who worked with Tann and delivered some of the stolen babies.
