In the 1960s, the opening of locker clubs which offered lockers for sailor's uniforms and a variety of stores with different goods and services was a successful niche business for the sailors who had to adhere to Navy regulations. Seven Seas Locker Club was one of the most successful and was used as an opportunity for legal advice and business experience for its founders.
