Defense Attorney Jim Wilson belittled the prosecution's theory that Karen put two bullets in her husband's head, and instead suggested that the prosecution manufactured evidence to support their case against her. The defense also argued that the story Karen told about her husband's disappearance was simply a ruse to misdirect investigators.
