Healthcare workers are facing incredible physical and emotional stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with half of nurses on some units leaving as a result of the pandemic. In addition to the fear and trauma of dealing with the virus and loss of life, healthcare workers are also facing hostility from some patients.
