The Turner Diaries, a novel about a violent uprising in the United States, has been linked to over 200 murders and numerous attacks across the globe. Although there is no direct evidence that Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh was inspired by the book, his telephone records indicated he tried to contact the National Alliance - a white supremacist group affiliated with the book's author.
