Police initially focused on the harassing phone calls made to Pam prior to Brandi's abduction and murder, requesting phone records from Pam's home in hopes of identifying a suspect. One suspect, Kenneth McCune Jr., had made calls from his home prior to the break-in at Pam's house, but little was done to investigate him further.
