Tips for a Healthy Pattern of Cortisol Secretion
The best way to have a healthy cortisol pattern is to have the highest levels of cortisol in the morning, view bright light preferably sunlight, and pay attention to the amount of physical and psychological stress happening before bedtime. Other factors that can spike cortisol levels are exercise, caffeine, and bright light sources, but the cortisol levels should come down to baseline or near baseline fairly quickly.
