Despite media outlets talking about the United States defending democracy by protecting Ukraine, Ukraine was never a real democracy with a government study giving them a 40% score. The conflict in Ukraine is openly and transparently explained as stemming from heavy corruption leading to loss of materials, money, and weapons.
