The sexual attraction pattern is often formed in childhood, and while most people develop attractions to adults as they mature, some individuals continue to be attracted to the age where their sexual attraction pattern was first formed. Those who collect child pornography may be attracted to children but it doesn't necessarily mean they have acted on their attraction.
