After serving time for a non-violent offence, Sanad was visited by the Joint Terrorism Task Force who suspected him of being a terrorist simply because of his Middle Eastern background. Even after proving his innocence, it was deeply unsettling to realize how he was being interrogated solely based on his ethnicity.
